Home Design and 3D Imaging

Designed with a spacious interior – a loft-like single room kitchen, dining and living room area with 18 foot ceilings, there is plenty of room to stretch your arms and legs.
Wood veneered kitchen cabinets with large sink and oven, bar, and farmhouse style dining room table comprise this simple, minimalist kitchen.
The main terrace, which directly faces the lake, is spacious and full of plant life, with numerous concrete planters adjacent to the walls. With an inset, grass border along the front next to the railing, this terrace uses elements of the natural surroundings to compliment the concrete tiles. There are two lounge areas, one with chaise lounges and the other with a three piece couch set and outdoor coffee table.
The second and third terraces adjoin the two second floor bedrooms, giving even more space to the large floor plan.
Surrounded by existing flora and high trees, the steel beam framed house sits perched on a slope above the lake. Because of the 10 foot height of the building above ground level, it is flood proof.
Architecture Imaging, a.k.a. Architecture Visualization, is a way to help the building owner, designer, or architect to visualize their plans for whatever project they’re working on.
Without architecture visualization, the client will have the unduly difficult task of making visual sense of 2 dimensional plans.
Architecture visualization commonly takes many forms, such as sketch-like 2D renderings, black and white or color 2D renderings, and 3D realistic renderings or architecture models in digital or real life formats.
The most common form of imaging nowadays is the digital 3D format, which can be very ‘model’ like, representing physical architecture models made from cardboard and/or plastic, or they can be digital models that look very realistic, often looking like an actual photo of the building or landscape.
We at DPS design focus only on digital representations of architectural and landscape design. Out digital products range from sketch-like renderings to very realistic looking 3D image mockups.
Decisions by clients as to which fomat they prefer often depends on their budget and time allowance, but can also depend on the way they prefer to visualize a project – what makes the most sense to them visually.
Overall, the process of architecture visualization can be a lengthy one, because once seen, a designer or building owner client may make multiple changes to the design – in which case a new rendering must be done.
DPS Design works in an iterative process, keeping our clients visually informed on every step of the design process. This way of approaching design is very efficient and gives the client many options, including the option to change their mind about the design. It also is very good for building trust and solid communication.
